Cañon City's Skyline Drive
| We visited in the Cañon City area and took the Skyline Drive. This distant view of the narrow ridge shows where the road comes down to normal level. The road is visible there at the end of the ridge. It follows the base of the ridge for a distance and then turns to this location from which the photo was made. |
| The road is narrow and one-way. It is only there for the view. The ridge becomes very narrow with steep drop-offs on both sides. It was an exciting drive. This photo shows the road going up from the left and it continues to the 'hump' in the center of the photo. A little distance past that it goes back down to the left. |
