The Log School House
| After driving around the area and finally checking with the school and with someone at the library for most of a day. We finally found the little one-room log school house. It was still standing 34 years after Ann attended first grade there. However, it had not been in use as a school for 18 years. |

| This stream and rugged cliff provide a picturesque backdrop for the little school. Ann walked on down the road and is barely visible standing at the edge of the culvert through which the stream flows under the road. This is the road she walked to school. |
