Paul, who is 86, may be the oldest living cousin of my father. I had not seen him and his wife, Bertha for 40 years. He has been public school teacher or administrator in Oklahoma until his retirement.
Paul's only daughter, Paula, and her only son, Chance, also teach in the Oklahoma public schools. they have provided much Skipper family information.
The mother of one of my best school friends and I have the same birthday although I didn't know it until recent years. She was ninety and I was sixty this year so I wanted to be in Cleveland to celebrate with her. However, Ann worked with my sisters to plan a surprise party for me. The biggest surprise was that my children were there. These digitals images certainly aren't very clear! Maybe it's better to scan 'large' and then re-size.
My mother, step-dad, sisters, and I. My little brother was in Montana skiing with his family.
I may need to check Ann's camera; these pictures look blurry. These are my four children with two half-cousins and two step cousins. The boy in the middle of the back row is Arkansas' first test-tube baby.
The lady in the light colored jacket is 90 years old and just as lively as ever. She is one of my step-dad's cousins. On her right is one of my mothers cousins; the one who has a lot of the old Maxwell history and photos. The lady near the wall is also one of Dad's cousins.
My oldest son took these photos with his digital camera and they don't seem to take up any more memory than the others, which I scanned from prints.
My sister encourage my high school girlfriend to attend. Her husband died last year and she told me that another of her high school boy friends died last month. Two other classmates were there. Look in the 'Cigar Box' for pictures of her when she was 17.
It rained a lot while we were there. Note the highly reflective license plate.
