| Louis is on the left, Jimy is in the center, and John is on the right. I don't remember what Ann and Becky were doing. The campground is visible to the left of center. We camped in our station wagon. I was satisfied to wash in the river (dipping a cloth into the water, not swimming), but the kids were ecstatic about the pay showers at park headquarters. The climb up this hill is not difficult and it provides an excellent view. Further upstream the river travels through a very rugged canyon land that is difficult to reach. Guides provide raft rides through the Mariscal Canyon. |
