| The trail runs across this little creek bed then up some switchbacks over the jumbled boulders at the mouth Santa Elena canyon then down to the bank of the Rio Grande. The river flows along sheer hundred foot cliffs on the south and the north bank soon plays out at some sheer cliffs on the north. |
