Windmill in the Central Plains of Texas.
THUMBNAILS
This area is not technically west Texas, but it is west of us here on the northeast Gulf Coast. We were visiting friends who had retired to run a little country store across the road from the barn and windmill. I climbed atop a little shed to get a better view and when I jumped off, I swung my arm to keep my balance and stuck the thorn tip of a yucca leaf through the tip of my finger. The thorn broke off inside my finger and it took a lot of digging with a needle to get it out. I guess that has nothing to do with windmills or photography, but it at least serves as a family story.
