WIGWAM MOTEL PHOTOS
Holbrook, Arizona
We called and made reservations at the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, Arizona. We arrived at dusk and checked in at the office. Listened to the son of the original owner for awhile and looked at the collection of old items around the office area before going to our wigwam for the night. I was up at sunup to get these photos before we had to hit the road again.
Old cars were parked all around the motel parking lot. I remember the names and model years of some, but not all. Here are a Buick and a Studebaker. The Studebaker is a 1951 model (I looked it up.) and the Buick is a 1955.

The wigwam is bigger on the inside than it appears to be from outside. This is the bed on Becky's side of the room.
A little stand with mirror and the A/C unit. The A/C unit blocks the window on that side.
This is the entrance with a nice curtain over the window.
Here is the corner of the room at the foot of our bed with a TV and heater.
A small but adequate bath with shower.

I think this is a 1954 Ford. Tell me if I'm wrong.
A 1959 Chevrolet.
1957 Ford.
I think this is a 1951 Ford; maybe '50 or '52.
A rusted out pre-war car. I don't know what kind.
