| Although Pike's Peak is far to the south, it is visible above the nearer mountains and is a very impressive sight! The north side of the mountains is shaded and that resulted in a low contrast negative. |
| As we drove along the road to the mountain, we stopped to take photos to show how the view of the mountain was changing. Again the foreground is dark and the image of the snow on the mountain top is almost washed out. |
